Voodoo?

I just remembered outta nowhere that when I was a kid, I was obsessed with making voodoo dolls. I don't know where it came from or why I was doing it, but I used to make them all the time.... I remember cutting up the fabric into shapes of people, sewing two pieces together and leaving an opening for stuffing, and then sewing it shut. Odd.... very odd. And kinda creepy I'd imagine from a spectator's point of view... a little kid making and playing with voodoo dolls? hmmm....

  1. yes very very very creepy. You know what..? Why do you play with very dangerous practices? Voodoo dolls were meant to do harm. That's not a good practice. It's wishing something bad on someone else. Who else is going to aid you in that practice? Not God, that's for sure

  2. No Shar, what you stated above is a common misconception that was brought about by churches and religion. They saw that the various SPIRITUAL (NOT evil) practices of indigenous peoples around the world were different from their dogma and saw it all as a threat, so they started propagating that "this and that is evil" and all that shit so that they could instill fear into the hearts of man and prevent their spiritual growth.

  3. lol.. I was reading this book that has a lot of stuff with witches and vampires and werewolves or something like that. well you know how they try to make the witches thing similar with wicca not the whole evil witches thing. They used voodoo dolls to like.. do things to the person. Not always bad of course lol
